Easton Res Played Sat home to Beetly and won 4 0 goals from chris b, raffa and 2 from new striker Danny.Should of been by all accounts 7 or 8 i was away so Paul C took charge and gave all a good amount of time on the pitch.
This Sat we play Costessey which will be a tough one so hoping all can play.We will be playing 3 x 30min sections any one fancy some time on the pitch please feel free to turn up. Playing on the 3g 4pm ko please bring shorts and socks as will not have enough kit to go around.
14th home to Ceyms at college
18th away East Harling first game

Easton res played Costessey sports in an eventfull game. 3 x 30mins was to be played giving all a good amount of time on the pitch however the ref walked off with the ball mid match abandoning the game as Costessey players were giving him to much abuse. They did get out of hand with some tough tackles flying about and the ref had little choice in the end but to call it a day.At the time we were winning 3 - 0 and playing some neat football and not letting the intimidation effect us was a credit to all the Easton Lads. Goals came from Gazza,Danny and Chris B. A good performance against a much better than previous quality opponents.
Thanks to all that played next up Ceyms at college next Sat ko3pm to confirm.

Easton Res finished off preseason with a 3 1 defeat to Ceyms res at the college
1st half was very even with Ceyms scoring first with a well taken goal perhaps tretty may have done better at his near post but Easton responded with alot of good football and eventually deserved to draw level after Danny pushing the ball across goal for Sam to tap in. Straight from kick off we lost concentration and allowed Ceyms to score a dissapointing second goal.

We made a lot of changes second half and that disrupted the whole team although only conceding one more goal we held out to the final whistle givin many players valuable time on the pitch.

Ceyms were a 5th division team and seem to have a lot of experience and have been together for some time. we are work in progress and competed well .Just a few little things to sort but not far away from there level.

Good pre season for the res and well pleased with there commitment and now looking forward to our first game at Harling Wednesday.
