We seem to have had a lot of changes lately and with Aris Pez Nigel missing from our previous game it proved once again to be the case.We welcomed back Matt Mcken for his first start( after his return from serving the nation)and with Payton returning from injury , John back on the left it was up to us to get back to winning ways.
Very windy wet day made conditions very difficullt as we had the wind with us first half with many passes overhit. Danny had a few chances again without hiting the target and came nearest 10 mins from half time when hitting the crossbar. Payton also had efforts blocked but it was a below par performance that we had to put right.
We started to play much better second half keeping the ball on the deck and after about 15 mins Danny put us in front with a left footed shot in the 6 yard box. Relief all round. We relaxed and played some very good football but their was always the chance with the wind in Hemsbys favour that they could get back into it.Well when a floated freekick was put in Ian got up but with the wind struck the top of his head and it flew into the top corner with Tretty no chance.
We responded straight from kick off with Danny notching another left footed shot pass the keeper( number 21) We really had most of the game and with Chris Bradshaw hiting a third we managed to see the game out.
We are making hard work of this at the moment and have found it more difficult since Wardy has been unavailable and with Shaun and James also missing they are big gaps to fill.
Got to keep pushing and now have a trip to Brandon next week.Its still up to us to get as many points as possible but its not enjoyable watching at the moment.
