Martham Res 5 - 2 Easton Res
Due to some very late call-offs Easton had to once again play with a numerical disadvantage and once again a 4-3-2 formation was employed.
Easton found the start of the game tough going and were being put under lots of pressure and found themselves 2-0 down after 30mins. Easton managed to get a rather lucky goal back just before half-time through Adam Ford, assist to player- manager Jonathan Richards.
After half-time Easton started to get on top and were rewarded for their pressure with a lovely goal from Carl 'fishface' Smith. Easton now looked capable of winning the game and were creating more chances than their hosts.
Sadly for Easton some sloppy defending from a corner allowed Martham to score forced Easton to switch to a 3-3-3 formation to rescue the game. Easton again started to create some decent chances, including a goal which was disallowed for offside, but could not force a 2nd equaliser. With time running out Easton become more and more vulnerable to Martham counter attacks and Martham managed to capitalise with two lates goals to give the score a somewhat lopsided look.
